Play Group

Today was our first time at a play group on a gloomy day. Everything went well. Girls were not shy at all. They automatically went to go play without me asking them too. Played well with others and I was able to meet other mothers and kids. There was about 10 adults and maybe 15 kids. It was a large group of people who showed up this time around.

I'm hoping to go again next Wednesday. Lets just hope the weather is a lot better. Girls had a lot of fun and I was glad I was able to talk to other mothers. =o)

How Time Flies...

As of today January 25, 2011, 

Aleena & Layla is 2 1/2 years old. 

They're both 27.6 lbs and 37 inches tall.

Both are doing very well on potty training. 

I'm so glad we have the that out of the way, 

now we get to save money on the pull ups. 

That's always a plus. =o)

its 925am and my babies just woke up.
Aleena woke up and said...
"whats up mama!!" (she said it very loud too)
-&- Layla stretched and grabbed my phone.
and then asked where's daddy.?

Aleena said," barney?..
i said yes
she grabbed the barney case. opened it. took out the DVD.
turned on the player & put it in
but there was a DVD in the player already..
so layla got up (all on her own) and aleena gave for her the DVD
layla grabbed the empty case and put the dvd in..

--they did this all on their own.. i didn't say anything i just sat back and watched to see what they were going to do. and they neatly put the cases back on the shelf..
oh how i love my babies.

right before nap time...
i asked, Aleena, Layla do you have to go potty.?
Layla said, oh..yes mommy. Aleena said, no. not yet..
i asked Aleena, are you sure.? she said yes mommy.. =o)
and after they lay down..they always ask for a big hug & a kiss..
i LOVE it =o)

Halloween in Japan 2010

Sadly, they were not able to go out and trick or treat this year. 

Because we received the costumes late.

But they loved their costumes. =o)

Of course I learned from this mistake and i need to order the costumes a lot sooner,

 since we're in Japan and they're very limited on stuff here.
